Patchy Blonde

The past couple of months I have been working with the band Patchy Blonde. The band merge elements of punk, indie and grunge. I have been involved with their creative direction for social media outlets. I photographed and edited photos of their shows to reflect the band’s visual identity and experimental nature. The venues I photographed were the Heebie Jeebies and Outpost in Liverpool. These photos were used to help create a visual art direction for the band.

I’m passionate about live music and I wanted to use this project to capture the band’s presence at their live shows. I enjoy listening to indie rock music and it’s something I wanted to experiment with the photography style. This was good experience in learning how to take concert photography and experimenting with different editing techniques to create an interesting piece of work.
